Under the wave of economic globalization, economic ties between countries are becoming closer and the scale of international trade continues to expand. Zimbabwe, located in southeastern Africa, has ushered in new opportunities for cooperation with China under the strong promotion of the "Belt and Road" initiative, injecting strong impetus into its own development.  

On September 5, CWPC successfully signed a cooperation agreement with the State Grid Corporation of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe National Electricity Development Corporation in Beijing. The next day, Sydney ZijuzoGata, Executive Chairman of the Zimbabwe National Electricity Corporation, and his delegation visited CWPC for inspection and research. Jiang Congmin, Director and Technical Director of the company, and Xie Zhiwei, Vice President, warmly received the visiting guests.

Sydney ZijuzoGata and his delegation visited the company's exhibition hall, production site, and the company's holding company Chengdu Maiyue Sunshine New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Maiyue Sunshine") for a field investigation to gain an in-depth understanding of the company's production and operation status As a company focusing on new energy technologies and products, Maiyue Sunshine has industry-leading technologies such as BMS R&D and manufacturing, active and passive balancing technology, rapid detection, distributed inverter, data processing, etc. At present, it has built industry-leading high-flexibility, high-safety, semi-automatic new energy vehicle power pack disassembly, capacity detection, PACK, finished product detection and other lines.

Afterwards, the two sides held a discussion. Zhong Wenqiang, the company's international business marketing director, expressed a warm welcome to the visiting guests on behalf of the company. He focused on introducing the company's professional strength in new energy and new technologies in the field of environmental protection, especially in ultra-supercritical power generation, three wastes treatment, water, wind and solar power generation technology and equipment, as well as the company's performance in nearly 60 countries and regions around the world.

CWPC attaches great importance to the development prospects of the Zimbabwe market and hopes to give full play to its advantages in technology, products, experience, etc., and jointly build a 720MW energy project for comprehensive environmental management and solid waste resource utilization and a 100MW photovoltaic power generation project in Zimbabwe with the State Grid Corporation of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe National Electricity Development Company. The company is confident that these projects will be made into high-quality projects, fine projects and demonstration projects in Africa and even the world, and contribute positively to the local social and economic development.

Gift Ndhlovu, representative of Zimbabwe National Electricity Company, expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception from the company. He said that through today's field investigation and data presentation, I have a deeper understanding of CWPC. The comprehensive strength of CWPC is admirable, especially the professional strength in technical equipment, engineering construction, project management and operation and maintenance management, which is worthy of praise and affirmation. I am full of confidence in the future cooperation between the two companies in Zimbabwe projects. In the future, we hope to work hand in hand with CWPC, use the comprehensive technical strength of CWPC and jointly explore increasing cooperation in new energy + energy storage, solid waste treatment, photovoltaic new energy and other projects in Zimbabwe, so as to play a positive and effective role in promoting the economic development of Zimbabwe, enhancing the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and the friendly relations between the peoples.
