On the morning of July 11, Chairman of CWPC Li Renchao, led a team to meet with Zhang Wenqi, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shaanxi Coal Industry and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhang Wenqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, welcomed the visit of Li Renchao and his delegation, and introduced the development history, major achievements and recent development of Shaanxi Coal Group. Zhang Wenqi pointed out that Shaanxi Coal Group adheres to the overall situation of Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, deeply understands the decisive significance of the two decisions, strengthens the four senses of awareness, strengthens the four self-confidence, achieves the two maintenance, consolidates the two foundations of the company's resource continuity and team building, and highlights independent innovation and safe development. Simultaneously, the company upholds the principle of people-orientedness, employs a diversified ownership structure to implement a project-driven strategy, takes advantage of the significant opportunities brought about by the establishment of large coal bases and the energy and chemical industry base in northern Shaanxi, and expedites the development of the two primary industrial sectors of coal and coal chemicals. It focuses on creating a circular economy, breaking new ground in the fields of coal power, coal-bed methane, coal resource utilization, and modern coal chemical demonstration, among other areas; actively transforming the growth model; constructing an industry system for transportation logistics, machinery manufacturing, construction, and financial services; and forming an industrial structure based on coal development, headed by the coal chemical industry, and diversified development, with the goal of creating China's premier energy and chemical industry that is safe, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly while also benefiting workers and the broader community.

He said that China Western Power had cooperated with Shaanxi Coal many times in new energy and new materials, solid waste treatment, EPC and other sectors, with reliable technical quality and good service, and has established a good foundation for cooperation. It is hoped that the two sides will establish a long-term cooperation and exchange mechanism in the future, strengthen cooperation in many fields, and move forward hand in hand for mutual benefit and win-win results.

Li Renchao, Chairman of CWPC introduced in detail the development of CWPC’s main business, development history, strategic planning and other sectors, especially the company's strength in new energy, new technologies in the field of environmental protection and industrial solid waste treatment. He said that Shaanxi Coal Group as a benchmark enterprise for the development of local state-owned enterprises. CWPC is looking forward to further strengthening the cooperation with Shaanxi Coal Group in energy and power supply and coal chemical construction, and will also perform well across a range of services and collaborate to further enhance the Shaanxi economy's superior development.
